There is an "on call" beeper to be carried by the in-house on call surgery intern when covering for the surgical specialties during off hours.

There are orthopaedic and hand (and other surgical specialty) service pagers, intended as a "back up" method of reaching each surgical specialty. The intern assigned to our service should carry the ortho service beeper.

Please make a copy of the orthopaedic resident call schedule for me each month.

The staff call schedule is posted on the VA Intranet at Orthopaedic On-Call Calendar.
